Second consecutive home game where we have had least possession and fewer shots on and off target than the opposition. Five shots on target but only one that their keeper actually had to save rather than catch. Everybody blames the defence but our real problem is no midfield to supply the bullets. Get Sam and Watt back asap and consign johnson and Howson to the reserves for a while.

I've got to be honest erni, I'm not a Howson fan or hater but I thought he was our stand out player in this game. I honestly don't know where we go from here. We have all wanted Naylor and Collins dropped but Bruce and Collins looked terrible alongside each other with no communication at all.
dazza71
Don't disagree with getting Watt and Sam back as the wide players don't stay wide, Snoddy looks off the pace and like Johnson wanders inside too much. We need a strong Centre Half and though we wait for Kisnorbo who's to say he'll be the same a bad injury and like a few of the others fitness will be a problem.

I have to feel that given his latest setback his future is less than certain. It looks like the first operation did not fix his knee problems and I think he may be struggling to play top grade again. (no jokes about whether we are top grade or not please. After last night I am in no mood)
erni
I'm just gald Cardiff let us off with just a 4-0 defeat!
