Convincing stats even if the first hours performance was that good. All changed when Beckford went off.

Listening to the game it sounded like Southend played ok in the first fifteen minutes and looked the bigger threat. I don't think we have learn't much, we are still much to slow to get into games. Whatever happened to the Leeds side playing at Elland Road that got into the faces of the opposition in the first ten minutes? Carlisle and Gillingham are going to be difficult to get six points from, still not convinced with the side. Hopefully Becks (who must be upsetting the applecart) gets dropped and we can have eleven players on the pitch working their socks off for a change.

Dazza I agree could be the reason why our form dipped usually scored in the first 15-20 mins and built on that. It's now gone, the supporters get nervious and this infects the players. I always thought that giving a team a good thrashing would get the confidence going... It didn't happen after the Tranmere match though.

Hopefully now after two wins we might see a bit of confidence return, two huge away games this week, six points and I think we will take the automatic spot from Millwall.
