3 points is all that mattered, especially as some of those above slipped up

Its probably the least amount of attempts on goal we have had all season.

A clean sheet at last!

We won against a poor Brighton side, Leeds still didnt look good yes the back 4 was alot better,Naylor and Dickinson looked good and Trudle will get better with fitness but there where still stupid moments from the usual players im still trying to work out the point of signing players for a month by the time they start making an impact for us they will be heading back to there clubs,I understand Naylor we have an option of buying him or at least extending it for the rest of the season but trundle and dickson will be heading back,I hope they have a plan to buy people or we will be in trouble again...MOT

Ken Bates made a good point when he said that he knew we needed defenders immediately, he's brought in Naylor and Dickinson and that gives him the rest of the month to get the defenders long term that he really wants.

A real pleasure to see that clean sheet. Living in Amsterdam, I don't get to many games, but the handfull I've seen this year have had a common thread. Pretty football and soft goals against. e.g. 5-0 up against Crewe, playing superbly, then giving away two goals in injury time. I'd be very happy with a run of nasty, ugly 1-0 victories unitl the end of the season. If we can add steel and organisation at the back, we can beat anyone in League 1.
