Leeds United went down to their first defeat of the Championship season in a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Millwall.

Aiden O`Brien scored the only goal of the game for Millwall with just 17 minutes remaining as Leeds conceded their first goal in over 600 minutes.

Leeds never threatened the Millwall goal all afternoon, as they came under constant pressure from a hardworking home side who gave Leeds no time to settle on the ball.

It could have been by a wider margin. Former Leeds striker Steve Morison had an early goal ruled out for offside and Leeds keeper Felix Wiedwald made a number of saves to keep the scoreline down to just 1-0.

Leeds bad afternoon was made worse late on in the game when Pontus Jansson was forced off through injury, leaving Leeds to finish the game with ten-men having already used their three substitutes.

Despite the defeat, Leeds remain at the top of the Championship table on goal difference from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Cardiff City.
