Snodgrass salvages point for Leeds in shocker

Leeds United somehow managed to salvage a point from a shocking game at Vicarage Road.

In a game of very little quality, Michael Kightly gave the home side the lead in the first half when he was given time and space to pick his spot.

Leeds rarely threatened the Watford goal with Luciano Becchio wasting Leeds best chances when firing wide when in a good position.

The main action happened in the final few minutes of the game.

Watford won a penalty in the 88th minute when Patrick Kisnorbo was guilty of clumsy foul on the edge of the Leeds area.

Leeds goalkeeper Alex McCarthy kept Leeds in the game when he turned Sordell`s penalty onto the post.

Deep into stoppage time, Leeds got a lifeline when Mika Vayrynen was fouled in the Watford area.

Robert Snodgrass kept his cool to fire past Loach in the Watford goal with the last kick of the game.

Leeds point keeps them in the play-off places in sixth place.

Not one of Leeds best games by any means...I'm glad with a point dough...Leeds cant be expected to go out and play every team of the pitch and score! A hatful of goals! Every game...Leeds have played much better and got nothing!''...
