Early strike stuns Leeds

Leeds play off chances took another turn for the worse after another frustrating afternoon.

Neil Danns scored the only goal of the game less than two minutes into the game largely thanks to a huge deflection of Andy O`Brien.

Despite having plenty of possession, Leeds failed to produce any clear-cut chance in a drab game of football.

Danns had a mixed afternoon for the home side as he was sent off for his second yellow card of the afternoon deep into injury time.

The result sees Leeds drop down to ninth place, three points behind Forest in the final play off place.

The win for Palace almost guarantees their safety in the Championship.

Leeds have now lost to five of the bottom seven sides in the Championship this season.
