Leeds travelled to Leicester for a live lunch time clash against top of the table Leicester City live on Sky Sports.
Sam Sodje came back into the starting line up in place of Rui Marques.
Lucciano Becchio passed a fitness test and plays whilst Jermaine Beckford failed a fitness test.
Leicester had the first chance on goal, his effort was blocked by Sodje.
The home side were enjoying the bulk of the opening ten minutes Gradel`s shot was turned out for a corner by Ankergren.
It took Leeds nearly twenty minutes to have their first sight on goal, an excellent through ball by Douglas found Becchio and his turn and shot found the side netting.
Casper Ankergren made a great save to deny King from giving Leicester the lead.
Next chance for Leeds fell to Dickinson, his shot was blocked by a Leicester defender.
Leeds were nearly made to pay by some sloppy defending by Douglas who conceded a corner, Howard met the corner with an header which went just wide.
Leeds came closest to taking the lead when Leicester keeper Stockdale punched the ball against his own cross bar from a Leeds corner.
Leeds were beginning to get a foot hold in the game and Snodgrass tried his luck from long range without troubling the keeper.
Ankergren was called into action again just before half time saving well from a Morrison shot.
A very tight first half with some interesting battles all over the pitch, both sides was managing to cancel each others attacking threats out.
Leeds started the second half strongly, Naylor had a header saved on the line and then Sodje soon after saw his header just go wide.
Casper Ankergren then made a fantastic save once again to thwart King.
Howard had the next chance for Leicester, his header just deflecting off the head of Sodje and over the bar.
Liam Dickinson wasn`t having much influence up front for Leeds but continuously got back to help the defence, he made a fantastic last ditch tackle to deny Fryatt when it looked like he was about to pick his spot.
Becchio was replaced by Robinson for Leeds just past the hour after taking a heavy tackle from Oakley.
Delph almost gave Leeds the lead when his crisp left foot shot was saved by Stockdale.
Ankergren was then once again position well when he saved a header from Howard.
Ankergren was having an inspired afternoon, he made another great stop to deny King for a third time.
Robinson almost gave Leeds the lead in the last ten minutes, he managed to gain himself a yard and his shot was pushed over the bar for a corner.
Leicester won it with almost the last attack of the game, Steve Howard rose to head in deep in stoppage time.
