AR should quickly draw a line under this era by negotiating a settlement for Vitor Orta to leave the club. The buck has got to stop with him.
He came with a hugh reputation to spot rising talents that would fit into the first team and also increase in value.
But the value and standard of the recruitment so far has been mediocre. The only player of note is Saiz.
His tenure at Middlesbrough saw him oversee 18 players and none came across as noteworthy.
His handling of the goalkeeping situation was a farce that saw Green left and 2 mediocre keepers joining.
Of his signing Yuseki, Orta said: He won’t be able to walk right into the team.
Why sign him?

We are now getting into the same situation as a few seasons back signing players who are not good enough and giving them long contracts and what's all this buying for the future about ,you've got to secure and strengthen the present before you build,

I'm not adverse to buying talent for the future, what I do find completely mystifying is the length of contracts that the recent round of new players are on. I don't recall hearing of any less than 3 years, so an average donkey can get a decent return for little effort.

TC has left, so why is VO even still lingering here? To begin with TC’s job was made more difficult by the inadequate foreign legions in the team with little knowledge of the rigours of the English game. Only player of note was Saiz out of so many.
Countless players were signed with long contracts for the development squad but the standard remain the same, mediocre.
In the words of Ian Harte, the Leeds culture were totally lost. Instructions were shouted in Spanish and the players have no pride pulling the Leeds shirt.
Had it been known that AR had so much money to spend, Leeds should have go on to bring in Bristol City’s duo of Flint and Bryan early in the season. That would have gone a long way to stopping the current rot at Leeds.
AR, be your own man. Sack VO!

AR has apologised for having TC as Coach no apology as yet for the man doing the recruitment. A Coach can only produce if he has quality to work with with the exception of Saiz we have brought in no quality at all time for Orta to move on or has he got a long contract as well

Leeds was playing free flowing football with TC then and were winning games. The fans were pleased as punch.
But as games get physical, it was when Leeds struggled and the players were total mismatch.
VO should have known.
And where is the U23 in the league?
Disgraceful!

Orta has brought some dross into the first team but watching the u23s this afternoon was a revelation. They are unbeaten at home in three months and are really hitting their straps with a good mixture of home grown and foreign talent blending really well. The 5-1 win was as impressive as it sounds and Tom Pearce, Jack Clarke and Oriel Rey look real players for the near future. Only disappointment was Grot who never really got into the game.
