According to BBC website. Quoted as saying offer to go back to the Academy was not genuine by the club and they did not allow him to take up the position. Statement from club due later on today.

It was always going to end in tears. A real shame after what he did with the academy and last season. He won't be out of work for long.

To be honest i am sick to death about hearing about Redfearn's aside of the story, he is playing this out in the media in order to get a better payoff. All we have heard is his side of the story , would be interested to hear what our club has to say.

If Redfearn was such a Leeds fan he would do this in private not bring the club he loves into the public eye again.

So i am pretty glad to see the back of him

Its a pretty sordid affair all round with dirty linen being washed in front of the red tops. I have no reason to disbelieve Redfearn when he says the offer was not genuine and that he was prevented from going to Thorpe Arch but Graham Bean is really stirring it in the background. He says he has texts that prove Cellino was influencing decisions when he was banned and that Pearson sent Redfearn a text telling him it was going to be a long hard year after Redfearn said he was going back too the Academy. The guy is full of bile and out for trouble.
The whole episode has been handled badly.

Agree Erni you would have thought we would have dealt with this quickly and correctly and attempt to get some goodwill for a change

I think Leeds are dealing with this situation with reserved dignity.
There seems to be only three parties crying to the "Press" on this matter; Redfearn, himself; Phil Hay, whoes going to be Jaked, now he can't get his inside info'; And good old "Mr (Graham) Bean", bitter, twisted and clutching at straws.
This is going to a Tribunal, so keep it "Zipped" is a sane, safe approach from LUFC...... Roll on the new season, let's get this bickering behind us........
