Operator: " what sort of trouble sir,"
Caller: " well I was typing along and suddenly the words went away,"

Operator: " Hmm so what does your screen look like now,"
Caller: " Nothing"
Operator: " Nothing??"
Caller: " Its blank, it won't accept anything when I type."
Operator: "Are you still in Word Perfect or did you get out."
Caller: " How can I tell."
Operator: " Can you see the C: prompt on the screen."
Caller: " whats a sea prompt."
Operator: " Never mind, can you move the cursor around the screen,"
Caller: " There isn't a cursor, I,ve told you it won't accept anything I type."
Operator: " Does your monitor have a power indicator light."
Caller: " Whats a monitor,"
Operator: " Its the thing with a screen on it, looks like a TV, does it have a little light on it that says when it is working."
Caller: " I don't know."
Operator: " Behind the monitor you will see a cable that plugs into your monitor and into the wall, can you see it,"
Caller: " I think so."
Operator: " Can you see if both ends are plugged in fully."
Caller: " Yes it is."
Operator: " while you were there, did you notice another cable."
Caller: "No"
Operator: " Well there is one, can you see if it is plugged in to the computer."
Caller: " No".
Operator: " Even if you lean right over."
Caller: " Oh it's not the angle, It's because it's Dark."
Operator: " Dark!! ."
Caller: " Yes, the office lights off, I only have the light from the office window."
Operator: " Well turn on the office light."
Caller: " I can't."
Operator: " Why not?."
Caller: " Because there's been a power failure."
Operator: " A power.......... a power failure, I think we can sort it now sir, Do you still have the box, packaging, and manuals that came with your computer."
Caller: " well yes, I keep them in the cupboard."
Operator: " Good, I want you to pack everything up just the way it was when you got it. Then take it back to the store you bought it from."
Caller: " Is it that bad."

Caller: " When I get there, what do I tell them."
