McAllister stays positive

Gary McAllister's first match in charge of Leeds ended in defeat on Saturday against Tranmere.

Despite this defeat McAllister is remaining positive about his sides chances of promotion and still believes that Leeds are more than capable of doing this, and can do this in the right way, he said: "I'm fully aware what it takes to get out of this league.

"We are what we are, but the players have already proved they are capable.

"I'm going to encourage them to play the way I like and they've got to have that mentality."

The defeat meant it was a second successive league defeat at Elland Road, but there is still plenty to play for and McAllister is talking a good talk.
