League One Title Challenge Over?

Leeds United faltered yet again as Gwyn William’s caretaker manager reign signed on and off as a Lee Barnard goal sealed all 3 points for Southend.

The news that Gary McAllister will have been music to the ears of the Leeds United squad, however it was not enough to get the Whites back to winning ways on Tuesday evening.

A free kick, seemingly not taken from the right position was parried by goalkeeper David Lucas, deputising for the injured Casper Ankergren, and the ball fell to on-loan striker Lee Barnard to finish off from close range.

The result now means that Leeds sit in 6th position in League One, with dreams of League One glory from a 15 points head start for the rest of the league dwindling even further.

Its not over till the last game of the season or mathmatically impossible.

Plenty of time left yet, although Swansea's consistency is looking pretty ominous. This is a tough league & there are plenty of hurdles left for everyone!

Lot of 6 pointers coming up, could really drop out of contention
