Leeds confirm Derry talks

Leeds have confirmed that talks with Crystal Palace over the permanent transfer of Shaun Derry to them are ongoing.

Derry's loan spell with Palace officially ended after their victory over Bristol City at the weekend so he has returned (albeit temporarily) to Elland Road, however leedsunited.com has confirmed that talks over making the deal a permanent arrangement are continuing.

Derry joined Leeds almost three years ago, but a heel injury sidelined him for some. Even so he hasn't played a first team game for Leeds in over a year so a move away appears to suit all concerned.
