Reserves Draw With Hull

Jonny Howson makes a welcome comeback as Leeds United reserves drew 1-1 with Hull City on Wednesday Evening.

Howson has been out of action since the knee injury picked up following a horror tackle by Swansea City’s Ferrie Bodde as Leeds lost 3-2 to the current league leaders. It was a tale of two Elliot’s as Hull City’s Stuart Elliot scored the goal that restored parity, with Leeds having taken the lead courtesy of Tom Elliot who headed home as Howson turned provider with a corner.

Leeds United reserves: United: Martin, Madden, Wilkinson, Milne (Grace 70), Fisher, Gardner, Howson, Rothery (Ovington 82), Delph, Weston, Elliott (Cartman 72). Subs (not used): Lund, Ovington, Grace.

Good to see Howson back. He's certainly got a lot of competition in midfield now.
