Leeds Sign Birmingham Midfielder

Neil Kilkenny has joined Leeds United today from Premier League side Birmingham City on an initial emergency loan with a view to a permanent contract next week.

The 22-year-old Australian international managed 26 first team appearances for the Blues under former manager Steve Bruce but has now decided that his career lies elsewhere.

Whilst the deadline for Saturday’s game against Northampton Town had already passed, a temporary loan contract may well allow him to feature against the Cobblers.
