Leeds Boss Interviewed By Police

Dennis Wise was interviewed by West Yorkshire Police following an incident with a stone-throwing youth.

Wise was travelling back from a meal in the city to his home, when his car came under attack from a group of people throwing stones at it. The Leeds boss had gotten out of the vehicle and chased the teenagers, catching hold of one of them who later was able to escape.

Naturally for any young person who commits a crime that ends up being collared by the victim, there is now an assault allegation by a 13-year-old, alongside the criminal damage to Wise’s vehicle.

A spokesman for Leeds United said: “We can confirm that Dennis's vehicle was attacked.

“The police are investigating the matter and Dennis is cooperating fully with their investigations.

“His two children in the car were left very upset and his wife and mother-in-law were very shaken by the incident.”

Should go back to the good old days where you could give `em a clip round the ear without then ending up in court, country is too soft nowadays!
