Leeds Announce Stadium Changes

Leeds United have announced changes to the ticketing arrangements for certain seats in the East Stand from January 1st 2008.

The action has come as a result of club consultation over the safety fans in block L34 over the behaviour of an increasing number of supporters through their persistent standing and attempts to goad the nearby away fans into a reaction.

Starting January 2008, only Leeds United members will be allowed to purchase tickets for the family block.

A statement from Leeds read: “We apologise to any supporters this change of policy affects. If the matter is not dealt with now then it is our belief that our police charges will be increased to ensure that there is no disorder emanating from this area and we will lose genuine supporters who are not able to enjoy the game.”
