Leeds Keeper Out Injured

Casper Ankergren won’t feature in Leeds League One fixture against Cheltenham Town with a badly gashed leg. Nooo!

The Danish stopper was substituted during Leeds’ FA Cup replay defeat to Hereford United and it appears that the injury is worse than first feared. 'Casper's not fit,' manager Dennis Wise told Leedsunited.com. 'He's opened part of his knee up and he's got to be careful not to bend it.

'He's not going to do anything for four or five days because if he bends it, it will slip. But it's an opportunity for someone else.'

Former Sheffield Wednesday keeper Dave Lucas looks set to make his league debut for the club as replacement for Casper.
