Thompson Returns for Leeds Reserves

Alan Thompson makes yet another return from injury with a reserve outing against Scunthorpe United reserves on Wednesday evening.

Thompson has been out through injury once again since the fixture against Leyton Orient and the United skipper attempts another comeback tonight for the stiffs. He will skipper the side as they visit Glanford Park, starting at 7pm. The former Celtic midfielder is joined in the reserve squad by first team squad members Shaun Derry, Curtis Weston and Robert Bayly in an otherwise youthful line-up.

Leeds United Reserve Team: Edwards, Darville, Lees, Wilkinson, Fisher, Weston, Derry, Thompson, Bayly, Rothery, Ameobi. Subs: Cartman, Hotchkiss, Delph.

We really need Thommo back, we are a bit short in midfield and could also do with someone with his creativeness and experience.

I watched Leeds on the weekend, trust me dazza71, you need a lot more than Alan Thmpsons creativity and experience! This Leeds team is an absolute joke.
weetim67
Strange that, when you consider we didn't play at the weekend ;)

How old is this geezer now? He seems to have been around for a long time. I can remember him at Villa and Bolton!
