Leeds Ref’ McDermid Denies FA Charge

Leeds Ref’ McDermid Denies FA Charge

Danny McDermid did not use foul or abusive language towards Leeds United manager Dennis Wise according to…Danny McDermid.

The FA are reporting that Mr McDermid has denied the charge of breaching a breech of FA Rule E3- Use of abusive and/or insulting words and has now requested a personal hearing.

The referee was reported by Dennis Wise during the 1-1 draw against Gillingham in which Wise himself was charged, and punished appropriately for the same offence. It appears that Mr McDermid now wants to fight, rather than doing the best thing all round by accepting that he was wrong, and should be punished for the wrongdoing.
