Leeds United Strikers Are Lazy?

Leeds United have a strike partnership of lazy forwards if Brighton’s Tommy Elphick is to be believed.

The Brighton & Hove local paper The Argus (Click here to visit their website) have quoted Elphick as saying: “They aren't the liveliest, which is where, as a defender; you are at your most vulnerable.

'You haven't got anything to mark a lot of the time because they are lazy and they walk around a lot.”

With Kandol and Beckford now having scored 6 goals each, the lazy duo have just 1 goal less than the entire Brighton team have over the 12 League One fixtures.

If that’s lazy, I’d love to see lively!

There is a 1-day poll up for you all to register your opinions on the "lazy" accusations.

'You haven't got anything to mark a lot of the time because they are lazy and they walk around a lot.” He then went on to backtrack, calling them cute rather than lazy? I didn't think it was particularly creative horse worrier.

I think anyone who watched the game Saturday or over the season would agree with the comments (if they read them in full and in context, not like this piece). Kandol and Beckford have a very laidback style, they are never going to run anyone ragged.

They can look as Lazy as they like..As long as their Lazy Legs keep putting away goals..

yorkshirepride1
