Minus Fifteen Under Starters Orders
The racehorse named after the Football League penalty imposed on Leeds United is set to enter it’s first race.
The name is the brainchild of Leeds United supporter Steve Parkin, who came up with the idea over dinner with club Chairman Ken Bates. Minus Fifteen has already met the playing and management staff at Leeds’ Thorp Arch training ground as covered by Vital Leeds (see the article: No Long Faces at Leeds United.)
The horse makes his debut in the 1.30 at Newmarket on Friday October 19th. I will be hoping to place a bet on the day, no doubt resident gambler Dazza will be doing similar!
