Vital Leeds United: FA Says No!
This nations Football Association has once again proved that it has the toughness of a newborn baby girl when tasked with a difficult decision.
It was announced late on yesterday that the FA had decided that they did not believe it appropriate to order any further inquiry into the Football League's 15 point penalty deduction.
So once again it's head in the sand time from the gents at Soho Square, despite the request from Ken Bates including the wish for an independant panel to make any kind of serious decision.
Club CEO Shaun Harvey told leedsunited.com: 'We are amazed that the Football Association do not feel it is appropriate to intervene in a matter which we believe is fundamentally wrong, and sets a dangerous precedent for the future.
'We will fully reflect on this surprising decision and are taking the advice of our legal team. We will not be making any further comment at this time.'
A suggestion there that perhaps that we may just make one more attempt to rectify the injustice that our Football Association have decided to ignore? If there is no other route for Leeds United to go down, we're just going to have to do this promotion lark the hard way.
Marching on together!
