'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No Happy Slapping Here!

David Prutton has said that there will be nobody patting each other on the back following the equalling of Don Revie`s unbeaten league start record.

Prutton, who`s impressed for Leeds since his joining the club in the summer scored the second of the Leeds goals as Dennis Wise`s men saw off yet another club in Swansea City. Win number 7 sees record equalled, and Leeds move out of the relegation zone properly for the first time this season.

Speaking to the official club website Prutton remarked: 'It's nice to get recognition, but it'll count for nothing if we're not up there challenging." 'It's a means to an end in a way.

'We can't stop for too long and pat ourselves on the back. We need to keep getting results."

Nice to see that the players aren`t getting too carried away, it will make the celebrations all the more fun come the last game of the season.

They`ve got to keep going, the fans will do the back- patting, the time for well dones will be at the end of the season...even if we had our fifteen points back there would still be a lot of work to be done
