Wise: Swansea Result “Best so far”

Dennis Wise gives his reaction as Leeds United go 7-up with a 2-0 victory against Swansea City at Elland Road on Saturday.

The win sees Leeds United starting to climb up the league table following the Football League’s 15 point penalty for being very naughty boys (apparently) and the manager is more than happy at the squads efforts at the weekend.

Speaking to the official club website leedsunited.com Wise said: 'I can't ask for no more from them,' said Dennis. 'They did fantastic. The performance was the best so far this season.

'It was an all-round performance. We knew how to deal with them and we did it well, and we scored two good goals as well.'

Wise felt the need to single out those who maybe don’t stand in the limelight quite as often, following on from David Prutton’s first goal for the club, a delightful low drive from 20 yards: 'Prutts always wants to give more and he's always coming and asking us what more he can give,'

'He's never satisfied, he enjoys it, he's done fantastic, and I thought he gave so much again on Saturday.
'It was a wonderful strike. He's one of the quiet heroes, and there's a few of them.'
