League Cut Off Leeds Bosses Balls
The appeal made by Leeds United, against the imposed 15 point penalty for this season (as a result of starting the season without a valid CVA in place) was rejected by 75% of the Football League chairmen, a move that has angered manager Dennis Wise.
Having waited so long just for the chance to even re-sign existing Leeds United players, Wisey now sees the task of taking the club straight back to the Championship made even harder and believes that the Football League have sunk so low as to take away his manhood.
Talking to the official website Wise said: "Not only have they taken my arms and legs off, now they've cut my balls off as well.
"It's just not funny at all. We'd like to know deep down the real reasons. If you look at the teams in our division I'm sure they probably wouldn't have voted for us.
"Some will have done it for their own reasons and probably not the right reasons. Everyone wants to get a head start, so 23 teams in our league have got a very good head start on us."
It now appears that the old 'everyone hates Leeds" rings true, something which Leeds fans are looking forward to taking on:
Wise summed it all up with: "It's going to be very difficult.
"A lot of people want to see us fall flat on our faces and they've helped make the situation as well.
"So we've got to fight against it, pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and get on with it."
Fair enough League One, we need 106 points to win the league, we`ll go out and get the points required and hopefully some day silence the critics.
