'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Leeds Fans United?

As pressure on a certain Ken Bates to resign increases, Leeds United CEO Shaun Harvey has called on Leeds fans not to divide their loyalties and get behind the current takeover bid.

Leeds are still awaiting a decision from the Football League as to whether they can have their "golden share" back, allowing them to take part in this years League One season. The confusion and lack of information coming out of the club has led a large number of fans to start a flower protest at the feet of the Billy Bremner statue in a clear sign of defiance against Leeds United 2007 Ltd.

Speaking to the official website Harvey said: 'It is important that we receive everybody's support behind getting the share back which is why I am dismayed that there seems to be resurgence, fuelled by certain sections of the media, against the consortium led by Ken Bates. This is time to unite not divide.'

We need to sort it out ourselves, the players need the fans as one, not one side shouting at them and the other side shouting for them.
As a Bournemouth fan i am not the greatest fan of leeds united, however i must say that this is getting stupid and you need someone to come out and tell you waht is really going on. You have had to suffer as much as any fans over the past few years and it is understandable why you are getting frustrated, i hope it gets sorted out in time for the new season so you can compete, tho i doubt your ability to get out of this league at the first attempt. Good luck.
Lets at least get it sorted in the short term so we can get the league's golden handshake the players can get some wages and we can start rebuilding the squad. Once thats done then we can reapply the pressure for someone else to take over even if it means Captain Birdseye making an healthy profit.
i'm loving all this - you deserve it!
To keep on reading & hearing what's going on is even worse than being forced to watch an Omnibus of EastEnders with a red hot P***R up your bum... Just get it Sorted i say before Kick Off..And finish the rest of later i.e KB....
Well said Merlin
You can imagine at the next Baftas... The award for the best comedy act goes to... (drum roll) Of course its LEEDS UNITED!!!

Kazza, you really are becoming quite amusing (just like LUFC), I'm really getting quite fond of your comments.
If we could win Bafta's we should have won that award for the last few years consecutively. Its a good job we can laugh at ourselves or we would all be in padded cells by now!
I do admire all your sense of humours! But I'm sure if the boot was on the other foot, you gits would be in our forum giving it to us... and why not as you say we have to laugh at ourselves at times!
Im getting quite fond of you too Millwalljohn..Like a hole in the Head!!!!!!!!
If you want amusing i suggest you go in the bathroom and find your friend and coax him out of hibernation..Im sure your a Sad Git and it has not seen any action since last season when you try it on with the female footie fans at your ground...
