Rose Departs Leeds For Spurs

Danny Rose became the latest departure from Elland Road to be confirmed after Leeds and Tottenham Hotspur agreed a compensation deal for the youngster.

Rose informed the club that due to the financial difficulties incurred by the club, he was intending to resign from Leeds and find a new team elsewhere. Whilst he had not made a single first team appearance in a Leeds shirt, the England U-17 international was one of the hot prospects for the club and one would hope has commanded a reasonable fee.

He was the one player Chelsea didn't get last season when they took a few of the youngsters. They tried but at the time he wanted to stay at Leeds.
