Leeds Czech Out of Dresden

Leeds United have announced that they will be border hopping this weekend in order to fulfil some form of pre-season fixture following the cancellation of the game with Dynamo Dresden courtesy of the local police.

The club are still awaiting a formal explanation from 'der Dresdener Polizei,` however have not let this interrupt preparations for the new season by arranging a new game in the Czech Republic. The squad will now travel just an hour down the road to the City of Liberec in order to take on Gambrinus Liga side FC Slovan Liberec on Saturday evening, kick off at 2030.

I would love to give you some more translation specials here at Vital Leeds but as I don`t understand Czech I will be unable to inform you of how Slovan Liberc see the game. What I do know is that they finished 4th in their league last season, and have a number of international players within their squad.

If you do understand Czech, I suggest you visit the clubs official website at http://www.fcslovanliberec.cz/cz/aktualne/.
