'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Updated Leeds V Dresden News

The official Leeds United website have announced that their game with Dynamo Dresden has been cancelled on the instruction of the local police force.

No reason has been given at the moment by Die Polizei.

Following an awful online translation, following my pathetic attempt to use GCSE German to translate, the official Dynamo Dresden website has a bit more information.

It appears that the Dresden police were provided information that 'several hundred' people were on their way to the game with no other intention than for violence. Whilst they do not explain as to just what allegiance these fans are from, the site does appear to point the finger (naturally) at non-Dresden supporters.

So, it appears someone, somewhere in Germany is a thug and it's got ze Germans a bit jumpy!
