Lubo Not Coming To Leeds United

Little Sam Lee has denied that his Slovak international defender Lubomir Michalik will be returning to Elland Road for the new season, despite a reported interest from Dennis Wise.

Michalik played 7 games for Leeds last season, scoring what was (at the time) a vital winner against Plymouth Argyle in April. It was a major blow that Lubo; who had impressed whilst playing for Leeds was recalled due to a Bolton Wanderers injury crisis with both Tal Ben Haim and Abdoulaye Faye succumbing to injuries.

With the Leeds United squad thin on the ground, it has been reported that Wise would be attempting to persuade Michalik to return to Elland Road, however Sammy Lee appears to be keeping the Slovakian in his Premiership plans for the upcoming season. Speaking to the Bolton News Lee said: The reason Lubomir went out on loan was to gain experience of football in this country,'

'He is part of my plans for the coming season.

I for one am quite happy, I didn't rate him in his loan spell last season.

i wouldnt have thought he would have came anyway
Super-Leeds
I thought he had quite a decent loan spell with us, he was a bit shaky at the start but he was a no nonsense defender good in the air and scores. Not that bad, but I never gave this rumour much credit anyway. Premiership to League One I dont think so.
