Leeds United Midfielder Departs

Kevin Nicholls has joined Preston North End for an undisclosed fee.

The very much out of favour midfielder was also going to be one of the departures from Elland Road this summer, after telling Dennis Wise that he wished to return to former club Luton.

It appears that Nicholls didn't particularly fancy League One life with his old team and has now joined North End. Preston boss Paul Simpson spoke to the official website about Nicholls: 'He's a leader, he gets his foot in, and he can get goals.'

Goodbye Kevin, I dare say very few Leeds fans will actually care!

Going to be the start of a torrent of departures? Cos now the administrators will have to accept 'reasonable' offers for your players I'd imagine...
