Leeds United Offer Challenged

Leeds United have confirmed via a brief statement on the clubs official website that the Inland Revenue given notice of their intentions to challenge the CVA.

Today was the last day for creditors to register their opposition to the agreement that would have seen Ken Bates re-take control of the club.

More news as we get it.

This story looks like it's still got some life left in it!

frankly, it strikes me that suddenly choosing to make an 800% increase in the offer to the creditors one day before the deadline was never going to go down very well. Surprised the inland revenue left it so late to do anything about it!
Wellers
It was the Inland Revenue that Bates negotiated the new deal with, it's a bit odd!

I am not surprised, I said when we went into administration this would last all summer and it looks like it will!!!!

your fall from grace has been nothing less than incredible. if you wanna get back to the PL then bates is probably not the best person to have at the helm.
Dales_Dad
Bates is the only one that's been "interested" since the CVA unfortunately. Unless you count HM Customs & Revnue's interest i guess?
