Healy to Fulham Deal On?

Look, listen and take heed women:

It now appears that David Healy`s widely expected departure from Leeds United has been delayed slightly; all thanks to…Mrs Healy!

Rumours started to circulate that Emma (Mrs Healy) was not too keen on moving to London and this had delayed the striker`s decision to move to Fulham, who haven`t had the best of luck in the transfer market recently. A number of players have turned down the chance to move to Al Fayed`s wonderland, with the club only managing to pick up Aston Villa`s unwanted right-back Aaron Hughes so far.

Healy is expected to depart Leeds United this summer following the clubs relegation, and his agent Stephen Hughes moved quickly to dispel the rumour that Healy`s other half was fully against relocating to the Big Smoke: "I don't know where this rumour came from that she doesn't fancy London" he told the Daily Express.

'David knows and respects Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez and his ideas from their time together on the international scene. We can do nothing for the time being and that's why he is away on holiday."

If your reading this Mrs Healy, I don`t suppose there`s a chance you could maybe persuade David to stay on at Leeds is there? I mean after all to coin a popular phrase, 'it`s grim down South!`

Are ye still in administration then?
Mike Forest.
Technically speaking yes. However should come out providing nobody kicks up a fuss by the 3rd July.

I for one will not be upset to see the back of David Healy. With the kind of money he earnt at elland road, his performances were simply pathetic... and his goal tally pityful. He didnt care about the club, and was only here as a stepping stone to his next higher paid job. Good riddance
milkylufc
we all know that hes going to go anyway after rejecting a wage cut
Mr God
Its been dragging on for a while now. Even though he doesn't score a sackful of goals for Leeds I would quite happily like to still see him at the club at the start of the season.
