Vital Leeds: Nottingham Whites

Are you a Leeds United supporter based in the city of Nottingham or the surrounding area? Well you may not be aware but there is a supporters club in the city for all things Leeds United. The authorised membership club are hoping to secure a number of group tickets for the away games as Leeds enter the 3rd tier of English Football for the very first time. Vital Leeds has been e-mailed a short history of the Nottingham Whites which reads:

We are a Regional Members Club formed in September 2006 with a membership then of four. It now stands at ninety!

As a Regional Members Club we normally meet on the 2nd Monday of every month at the Navigation Inn, Wilford Street in Nottingham. It is a relaxing pleasant evening based on a structured agenda and minutes subsequently issued.

We have three objectives i.e. to discuss our beloved Leeds United, to form a bond between like minded members and supporters and arrange next season for subsidised travel to both Home and Away matches. With our being in Division (3) next season we are in a privileged position in that as an authorised Members Club we will be in a strong position to secure tickets for Away matches. The smaller grounds we are playing at will obviously not be able to supply the total ticket requirements of LUFC.

Our next meeting is on the 14th of June at the Navigation Inn and you are very welcome to attend. You are now on my mailing list and I will in the next week be sending you minutes of the 9th meeting of the Nottingham Whites together with an agenda for the 10th meeting.

If you are interested in joining us, from July onwards there will be a £10 joining fee, as agreed by the membership at the last meeting. The £10 fee is not payable until July. In the meantime please forward me your:

- LUFC membership number
- Mobile or contact phone number
- Address

I would refer you to our website; www.nottinghamwhites.co.uk and this information can be forwarded by the membership form on the site.

Best Regards

Graham Swift
