Healy To Leave Leeds For Fulham?

Leeds United striker David Healy looks even more likely to be leaving Elland Road as BBC report that he is likely to link up with his former international boss.

Since Leeds were relegated, and sank into administration, Healy was always one of the most likely members of the squad to leave, and with Lawrie Sanchez now taking up a full-time managerial role at Fulham it appears that his future lies in the big smoke.

Whilst Sanchez was in charge of Northern Ireland, he did remark that he was surprised that a Premiership club had not come in for Healy, who was showing the kind of form for his country that supporters of his club could only dream for.

'If I was a Premiership boss he would certainly be a player I would look at if goalscoring was a problem,' Sanchez said in January.

I've no doubt if he got the chance to play at the top level he would score goals at the top level.

Leeds boss Dennis Wise however has never been completely happy about Sanchez`s comments, that did strike everyone as a tad odd for an "international" manager, the man since turning his back on the country that he led to the top of a European Championship qualifying group.

As far as I'm aware he's been linked to Healy, Steven Davis and Aaron Hughes...anymore N.I. links...it's as if he knows nothing else?

Lawrie will struggle as a manager his lack of knowledge in any other department apart from N.I will limit his chances of staying up.
