Leeds German Trip Good Idea!

The pre-season tour to Germany for the Leeds United first team is a key part of the clubs preparations for its return to the Championship.

Leeds will spend July in Germany with 3 games, including Bundesliga and ex-Bundesliga opposition part of the tour.

Club Technical Director Gwyn Williams spoke to the official website about the need to take the players away to prepare!

Williams said: 'A priority for pre-season is making sure you have somewhere good to train with good pitches.

'In Dresden we know that's what we will have, and we are well-placed in the city with the games we have.'

'A lot of it is about fitness at that stage, but every manager likes to take his players away, and it's a key part of the preparation.'
