Leeds Slash Season Ticket Prices

In a clear sign that the club will be embarking on a massive cost-cutting campaign across the summer, Leeds United have announced that season ticket prices for the 2007/2008 season will be reduced by up to 150.

With the club playing in League One for the very first time, a new price structure means the lowest price season tickets will be 350 for adults and 150 for youngsters. The biggest savings come from the West Stand and East Central Lower, however at 350 for the cheap seats it is still considerably more expensive than some of our fellow League One clubs. 80 miles down the road for example in South Cheshire, a season ticket watching Crewe Alex will cost an adult 285 at the very most.

I wouldn't go if they gave them out and give you 50 at the turnstile!

Good to see a bit of sense at last. They knew if they had left them at the 2006/07 prices they would have struggled for attendances.
