Administrators Expect Real Interest

The ball is well and truly rolling in terms of the future of Elland Road. Richard Fleming, working for KPMG administrators, has today confirmed that he has been contacted by several groups regarding possible bids by outside consortiums.

Although in the early stages of any real move, this does seem to confirm what was previously reported here on Leeds.VitalFootball. The potential for the Elland Road club is massive, and this is being realised by some of the biggest names in the business world including Duncan Revie (son of United legend, Don Revie) and Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft.

Allen is also a huge sports fan - he is the owner of two American sports franchises, the NFL`s Seattle Seahawks and the NBA`s Portland Trail Blazers - and has already signalled his interest in English football by holding preliminary talks with Southampton Football Club.

Hears hoping the best group gets the post and we can finally get our great club on the long road to recovery.

I represent a group called W.A.F.H.L.(we all f***ing hate Leeds) and I'm bidding to be your new owner. My bid would consist of plans to demolish your Sh*tty little ground and get Dennis(Nookey Bear)Wise and all his team Knighted for there achievements this season. And if I do gain control I plan to sell two of your best youth team players and two of the first team and pocket the money(well Bates got away with it).I would then sit in my private helicopter laughing at what I have done.So please vote for me to take over and I promise you here season ticket prices will be doubled so I can afford a club I actually do like.
