'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wise Admits Leeds Drop

With what can only be described as a victory of miracle proportions against promotion chasers Derby County, coupled with Hull City going mad and conceding a hatful of goals on the last day Leeds United will be playing in League One next season.

Leeds boss Dennis Wise has admitted that the club are down, obviously showing that he hadn`t hit the bar before the post-match interviews!

'It's a sad day for me, a sad day for the players, a sad day for the fans and a sad day for everyone involved in this football club,' said Wise.
'It's an impossible task now I think, but everyone knows that. Nine goals difference, so it's more or less done.
'I take full responsibility for everything that's happened because we're big people, but unfortunately we haven't done what we came here to do."
Wise went on to suggest that despite relegation, he will be at the club next year to sort all this mess out. With relegation, a lack of money and at least one away trip to the seaside next year, a season in League One gives the club a chance to re-structure and hit back.
'We're sad, we're disappointed. I could say a lot of things, but I'm not going to sit here and make excuses. I will be here next season.'

The Man united fan who signed up to a Leeds site just to take the *****. Get over yourself.
LUFC1
Well madmick you got your wish. Only problem is you are not living up to your part of the agreement you said you would quite happily see your lot win nothing if it meant Leeds went down!

As a Tigers supporter I am over the moon that we're staying up. Leeds have lorded it over everyone else in Yorkshire for a long time, and we've been sick to death of it, but not any more. They need to start from scratch. If they do, they'll be back.

Well done Phil Brown he's done well for your club and the signing of Dean Windass was a masterstroke.
