Leeds United Gone

League One awaits Leeds United after results today didn't exactly go too well.

A draw against Ipswich, coupled with Hull's win at Cardiff means that Leeds are 3 points from safety, with a vastly inferior goal difference.

Reports of a pitch invasion upon the final whistle from BBC, no doubt with the gutless players running for their lives.

What will happen to the team now who knows, it's going to be an interesting summer.

Cracking result. I hope Bates chokes on a pork pie tonight - would be the perfect end to the day. A toast to Agent Ridsdale!

TBH ill miss Leeds, where will the novelty value & comedy come from next season. I suppose S ****horpe will provide that.

Where are all the Leeds fans that were boasting this time last year about how Leeds were going back to the Premiership where they belong? And the scenes of Leeds fans invading the pitch have undone all the good work of people campaigning for the return of safe terracing in a heartbeat. Nevermind, at least Leeds will be allowed standing fans next season.

I think relegation had to happen. Its seems the club is still on a downward trend but probably now have reached rock bottom. Look at Sheff Wednesday - only now are they beginning to emerge again. Leeds to finish in the top 8 next season though as things begin to turn.

SORRY FOR THE WAIT Rocky7,but i could not come on this site yesterday as i was unable to walk let alone spell that lovely word RELEGATION.And what makes it better is it is a long slow painful death for Leeds as they have to wait a week before its confirmed. What a day yesterday was,United 2 down while Chelski was 2-1 up for it all to turn around, and then the cherry on the cake watching all those Leeds b@st@rds running on the pitch crying for that pathetic club that is "LEEDS 3rd tier of English football UNITED"
