Leeds Defender Set To stay?

Leeds United wish to keep on loan defender Lubomir Michalik for an extended period.

Michalik, who scored the winner in the 2-1 victory against Plymouth has been at Leeds since March 2007 signing on loan from Bolton Wanderers for a month, with the option to extend.

Leeds assistant boss Gus Poyet said:

He is staying. He is going nowhere.

'We will wait until the end of the loan to see if he is fit but if he keeps playing like he did at Plymouth then there is no way he is going back.'

Do you think he should stay? Have your say on the forums now. Instructions below!

Not sure Bolton fans were too impressed with random signings they made this year, perhaps if Lubo continues to impress and we stay up...we could nick him over the Summer? Would be a welcome change to have a younger player in our permanent squad!

he has played well since he came, id say he is one our best defenders

it's a case of pursuading him he wants to stay. According to the loan deal thats it from him after today. Thing is that the Bolton fans don't really care, he hasn't really done much at the club, they lose nothing as it stands from keeping him here Then in that case we keep lubo on!
