Poyet Speaks On Leeds Win

Leeds United assistant manager Gus Poyet has spoken to the official website regarding the 2-1 victory over Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

The win, which sees the Whites lifted out of the relegation zone for the very first time since November wasn`t the greatest performances in the world, nor was it comfortable of course until Bolton loanee Michalik found himself free at the back post to nod home but there can be no doubt that the Leeds fans are as delighted as the players and staff at the club.

"It's a great day,' said Poyet

The lads have been fantastic. We've been there (relegation zone) for a long while now, but we're feeling great now.

We can't enjoy it too much because we have another big game on Monday. We're very happy - but the job is far from done."

Leeds now move onto Colchester for an Easter Monday meet with the U`s and it appears that the boys have massage on their mind ahead of yet another massive Championship game.

"Now we rest, warm-down, do massages, have a hot bath, and get ready for Monday,' added Gus.

We have a big squad travelling so it'll be a chance for some of them.

At the moment we are confident we can score goals, the confidence is there, so let's go and try and win the game.'
