The Healy Factor

Ask any Leeds United fan what they think of any player and you can guarantee a mixed response, but no Leeds player divides opinion like David Healy.

The previous week has seen the Irish striker net no less than 5 goals for Northern Ireland and pop up with the winner against Preston North End on Friday night.

Healy has managers across the continent looking at him now. With an international return of 29 goals in 56 games it`s no surprise. At Elland Road however, fans have often had to see Healy put in some very lazy shifts at times. Any Leeds striker must have a better strike rate than 27 goals in 105 appearances to get away with what is perceived as a lack of effort.

With the rich vein of form that Healy is enjoying, one think is a certainty. The destiny of Leeds United this season will have a lot to do with Healy. One way or another!
