Leeds Loan Roundup

All the latest news on the loan players at the club, and those who are currently elsewhere:

Jemal Johnson, the Wolves striker has had his loan deal extended until the end of the season. Johnson, who hasn't done too badly in the 4 games he's played missed the journey to Southend through injury. With the loan deal being extended, there is now a 24 hour recall clause.

Charlton's international midfielder Radostin Kishishev can have his loan extended until the end of the season but only if the Premiership strugglers agree. Kishishev himself has declared that he would quite like to stay on at the club. 'I love playing football and I wanted to come to Leeds to play football.

'I hope to stay longer, but that's not just down to me, because I want to play football and help this club get out of trouble.'

Bolton player Lubo Michalik is another one who can have his loan extended; the club have a little bit longer to decide what to do with him. Lubo's deal will expire on the 9th April.

April 22nd will see the possible return of Neil Sullivan. Sullivan is currently on loan at Doncaster, and I'd be surprised if he will come back. With Ankergren playing well, and Stack behind him it would take a big push for the former Spurs and Wimbledon goalkeeper to regain the #1 jersey.

The most surprising thing to happen with a Leeds player is the continuation of the loan deal that sees striker Jermaine Beckford stay at Scunthorpe United. Beckford has scored 6 goals in 10 games and has made hints that he'd quite like to stay at the club. I'm not surprised when you consider that Leeds may be on their way down, with Scunthorpe coming up in the other direction.
