Leeds...WIN!

Leeds United have done their survival chances no end of good following an excellent 1-0 win against Luton Town.

With Kevin Nicholls, former captain turned want-away midfielder not in the squad to face the club he wants to re-join, Leeds seemed to be the guys in charge and a Richard Cresswell goal on 50 minutes sealed the deal!

Cresswell was set up by Jemal Johnson, with Leeds having already hit the bar twice through Jonathon Douglas and Blake managed to also hit the woodwork.

Hero of the day however, goes to one Casper Ankergren. The on-loan goalkeeper saved a late penalty from Dean Morgan described as 'woeful' by BBC Sport.

Leeds fans everywhere, the great escape is most definitely on

Leeds win, but so do Hull, Barnsley and Southend, and QPR get a point. So not all good news, eh? :)

Feck, where do I get my results from? Notwithstanding my gaffe, I don't think you'll be getting the 'Escape' T-shirts printed just yet.
Auckland Owl
yeah its going to be a tight finish.... one win doesnt mean you will escape we have been like that all the time. the win isnt helped by us (Hull), Southend and qpr picking up the points around you. We'll do you the favour tonight and beat luton but i dont think leeds will escape
