'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bates Opens His Mouth Again

Leeds United chairman Ken Bates has spoken out again, in response to shareholder Melvyn Levi's claims that it is Bates who is leading the club to ruin.

'He has deliberately and consistently tried to frustrate Leeds United from getting fresh investment into the club,' said Ken.

'He has deliberately tried to undermine the future of Leeds United and it's important that fact is not lost in the floss. If we fail it's down to him.'

Another Leeds United saga set to go on and on. I'm surprised that Mr Bates seems to be trying to take the moral high horse, when you consider that he had Levi's home address published in the match day program!

is there any good news coming from leeds at the moment, people at the top fighting, team losing on the field.... looks bad times to be a leeds fan

Not really. There is a cause for it all. I'll give you a subtle hint, he's pictured somewhere on this article page...and I don't mean Steve Stone.
