Shock Midfielder Set To Leave Leeds?

Dennis Wise has been stunned by the request of (now former) captain Kevin Nicholls to rejoin his old club, Luton Town.

Nicholls left Luton in a £750,000 transfer last summer but has seemingly asked Wisey to move on loan to help his old club out of the relegation battle.

The story developed late on in the week, and Wise acted quickly, Nicholls was stripped of the captaincy and replaced in the squad altogether by new loanee Radostin Kishishev.

'Kevin came into see me on Thursday, but I had a phone call from Mike Newell on Wednesday asking me if I was interested in letting Kevin go,' said Wise.

'I wasn't interested at all. I then spoke to Kevin and he told me that he'd like to go to Luton and I was a bit gob-smacked.'

Just when you need your team pulling together, the club captain wants to run away now and help a club that Leeds are chasing in the battle for survival.

I just one have one thing to say to Kevin Nicholls, your a disgrace.
