LUFC Leeds Loan Watch - Duo Continue To Impress

Vital Leeds United is keeping a close eye on how the Leeds players are doing during their loan spells away from the club.

Leeds have seven players out on a loan at the moment.

Liam Kitching and Mateusz Klich continue to impress having joined their loan clubs in January.

Lewie Coyle - Fleetwood Town (Season-long loan)
Appearances 34 (2) Total 36 Goals 0

Coyle started the midweek home defeat to Portsmouth in Fleetwood`s first game following the sacking of former Leeds boss Uwe Rosler. He completed 62 minutes of the 2-1 defeat before being replaced.

On Saturday, he played the 90 minutes in their 1-1 home draw with MK Dons. The draw ended a run of seven straight defeats but they have now won just once in 2018 and they are now just one place above the relegation zone.

Luke Murphy - Burton Albion (Season-long loan)
Appearances 28 (4) Total 32 Goals 0

Murphy returned from injury as he came off the bench with one minute remaining in their midweek goalless draw with Nottingham Forest.

On Saturday, he was an unused substitute in their 1-0 home defeat to Millwall

Marcus Antonsson - Blackburn Rovers (Season-long loan)
Appearances 21 (5) Total 26 Goals 8

The Swedish striker made his long awaited return to the side this week having been out since the festive period with an ankle injury.

He came off the bench on 63 minutes last Monday as Blackburn beat Lancashire neighbours Bury 2-1 at Ewood Park.

Antonsson came off the bench once again on Saturday as Blackburn won 2-1 at Walsall. The striker came on after 66 minutes in the win that keeps Blackburn at the top of the table in League One.

Yosuke Ideguchi - Cultural Leonesa (Remainder of the season)
Appearances 1 (4) Total 5 Goals 0

Ideguchi was an unused substitute on Saturday as Leonesa slipped to another defeat. Leonesa were beaten 3-2 at Almeria to make it four defeats in a row.

Liam Kitching - Harrogate Town (Remainder of the season)
Appearances 4 (1) Total 5 Goals 0

Kitching started for Harrogate as they beat Alfreton Town to move to the top of the Conference North Premier Division. The defender pounced to score from close range to make it 2-0 in a game they eventually won 4-3 having led 4-0.

The young defender is enjoying his loan spell with his hometown club and he has scored twice in his last three games.

Mateusz Klich - FC Utrecht (Remainder of the season)
Appearances 5 (0) Total 5 Goals 0

Klich is continuing to impress during his spell at FC Utrecht. The midfielder was replaced in injury time as FC Utrecht beat FC Twente on Sunday 3-1.

FC Utrecht have now won four of the five games in which he has played and he has been named in the Eredivisie team of the week twice since his arrival to help them up into fourth in the league.

Mallik Wilks - Grimsby Town (Remainder of the season)
Appearances 2 (2) Total 4 Goals 0

Wilks is still sidelined with the injury that has kept him out since February 3rd.
