LUFC Ipswich Town v Leeds United Team News

Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen will welcome Stuart Dallas back into his squad for the trip to Ipswich Town but there will be no debut for new signing Laurens De Bock.

Dallas is available after recovering from the foot injury he picked up during international duty in November.

De Bock, who signed from Belgium side Club Brugge this week returned to Belgium after completing the move.

Gaetano Berardi is expected to feature at right back after the news this week that Luke Ayling will miss the remainder of the season through injury.

Samu Saiz will serve the first game of his six-match suspension following his sending off for spitting at Newport County last weekend.

Ronaldo Vieira has returned to training this week but he is not ready for a return to first team action.

Felix Wiedwald, Pontus Jansson, Eunan O`Kane, Kemar Roofe and Ezgjan Alioski are all expected to return after being left out of the squad at Newport.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson picked up an ankle injury at Newport and fellow defender Matthew Pennington is suffering with a virus.

Caleb Ekuban remains a long-term absentee for Leeds.

Cole Skuse and Luke Hyam are expected to start for Ipswich. Skuse is playing through an ankle injury whilst Hyam made his first start in 19-months in the FA Cup defeat by Sheffield United last weekend.

Ipswich will be without goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski through injury. Dean Gerken will deputise in goal for Bialkowski, who is suffering with a calf injury.

Jordan Spence is suspended. Spence is serving the second game of a three-match suspension.

Tommy Smith is suffering with a virus and not expected to feature for the home side.

Ipswich have recalled Chris Smith from his loan spell at Chelmsford City and he will be added to the squad.

Emyr Huws, Tom Adeyemi Adam Webster, Tristan Nydam and Teddy Bishop remain on the sidelines.
